Let me catch you all up on what’s been going on. First of all, we have been able to accept a donation to the Moria Project of many different things. The story: I have a friend, K2, as I call him, who had a garage sale. He was done and had lots of stuff leftover and called me up. He knew about the Moria Project and that it takes many different kinds of donations. He asked if we could use anything and without me calling my friend, Jugg’, I agreed to come and get some stuff. Jugg’ joined me and we had a full conversation about life and the future while we were on our way to K2′s house. Once we arrived, we all introduced each other to each other, we talked a little bit about life and then started filling up the truck. Once we finished, we talked a bit about the future and helped K2 and his sweet wife understand what the Moria Project is about. Many different things came around and we all felt very filled at the end of our conversation. On our way back to camp, Jugg’ and I more or less prayed about what had just happened. We had just enjoyed the company of 2 individuals who are filled with the very essence of what many may call ‘filled with the Holy Spirit’. Thank you K2 and C. Peace to both of you! You make our lives livable and you are contagious with your laughter and gentleness! Peace be with you! This was an amazing donation and the Moria Project is thankful for all donations. If you have an old fridge, sofa, TV, money, clothes, anything, we will take it!
Last Thursday Jugg and Sug invited me along to a marvel movie marathon where you get to see all the marvel movies together in one sitting and then see the new Avengers movie at midnight. All together it is 6 movies and lots of the little boy inside you coming out. The movies went in order of release date. Iron man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and The Avengers. I told many people about this and they all said I was crazy and I would be sore from sitting so long. If anything hurt, it was my brain from being blown. The movies had so many connections, it is unbelievable. If you know anything about the comics, of course they are connected, but to see them all at once was helpful. The people who direct the movies do some amazing work, along with the whole process of making a movie. It is just incredible! I am thankful for exciting moments and things that I can get excited about. It feels good to pour your life into something or someone. I love hobbies and I feel like I have too many. I enjoy listening to all my friend about their lives, that’s my favorite thing in the world to do. Anybody who knows me, just know that I love to hear about you and your life or story! Please, feel free to talk with me about your part in this play of life.
So, I was talking to a friend at work the other day about blogs. They were talking about how school was over and they would be bored during the next few months while school was out and wanted to invest their time in something like a blog. They asked me about what they should write about. I just said what ever comes to mind. Also, go read my blog and other people’s blogs as well. This person is interested in writing about vegan foods and maybe some other stuff. I said that not everybody likes what I write about. This person asked what I wrote about. I said that I write about Jesus, I write about my everyday life, I write about these very conversations. They said, “Why would I hate that part of who you are. Also, I don’t like how people can go to church and worship God, but still sit back and bad mouth people or gossip. I don’t understand how they think that that is ok to do. If you are claiming to be a Christian and love God then how can you be so hateful and ugly.” That one hurt me inside because I hate how anybody(including myself)can do something to chase somebody away from something and not even know that they are doing it and I instantly said back that I was sorry for all the bull crap they have had to endure and that I hope that they wouldn’t think of all the church people that way. I said many times that I was sorry for the actions and words that are said by people who don’t know better. I was sorry and it really hurt me all day to know that people really do suck sometimes. I wasn’t upset with what this person said, but the actions of people who make me upset. I hate when I mess up and I know it brings down the world in a cosmic spiral, but I want to be a better person and make this a place to live that is awesome. I want to talk with people about a better place, all while trying my best to live that as well. This person said that they were serious with what they said, to which I responded, “so am I”. I call this person Short Stack. I am thankful for everything that you are and I inspire to help the world like you do. Your passion is in cooking healthier food that isn’t filled with who knows what, but something really good! I appreciate you and thankful that you make me laugh. Peace to you, S.S.!
I thought about it for a while that day and it made me think about how we need each other. We need help in deciding things about our lives when we don’t know. We need each other when we do know what we need, to bounce off ideas. We need community in order to survive. No matter what anybody says, we need each other. To cook food, to make clothes, to laugh with, to share with, to hug each other, to travel, and so on. We need encouragement. We do indeed need each other. We need each other in order to act out this part. We need to be able to play basketball with somebody. We need to cry and hurt each other so we know what life feels like; we need to struggle in order to realize that we are not the One in charge and do indeed need to ask for FORGIVENESS.
May you give someone a pat on the back. May you tell somebody you are sorry. May you exercise the thought of helping others and not giving up until then. May you be a light to this place and any place you are. May you bring life in abundance with you always.
I hope this message reaches you well! Peace be with you, your humble servant!
